It’s a coffee brewing technique using cold water. The cold drip consists of a water tank with a tap that regulates the fall of the water into a container that contains the ground coffee. At this point there is percolation and the coffee is collected in the container at the bottom.

– Cold water

– Coffee / water ratio 1/10

– Extraction time 8 – 12 hours

– Particle size 600 – 1100 micrometers.

First of all, we fill the upper tank with cold, add ice cubes and put the ground coffee in its container. We adjust the tap of the water tank so as to drop about 6 drops every 10 seconds. After 3-4 hours the tap must be turned on otherwise minus the frequency of the drops having halved the volume of water. After about 8 hours the coffee is ready, if the system does not contain a paper filter it must be filtered with a V 60 to eliminate coffee particles.

A coffee extracted in this way has a low caffeine content and can be stored for several days

in the fridge. You can drink it with the addition of water or milk.

Add some sugar and enjoy it !!!!
